Jon’s practice areas include real estate, government and regulatory matters, business and tax, litigation, and estate planning. His focus is on transactional matters involving real property and land use planning. Jon represents clients who are predominantly located in the Northeast Florida area, including Amelia Island in Nassau County. He works with developers, landowners, landlords, tenants, lending institutions, corporations, business owners, small and large local businesses, families and individuals.
As a part of his practice, Jon regularly drafts and files development orders, commercial leases, and transactional documents from initial offer to post-closing matters. He also assists in litigation matters, including administrative hearings before the Department of Administrative Hearings.
Recently, Jon completed the sale of assets and real estate for multiple assisted living facilities as well as the sale and purchase of several free-standing triple net lease (NNN) properties and anchored shopping centers. He has also obtained entitlements for single family and multifamily projects.
Jon brings a unique technical background and a sophisticated understanding of both business and real estate marketplaces to his practice. Between his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, his upper-level science and math coursework at a top-tier engineering school, his certificates in finance and economics, and his own personal development of real estate projects, Jon wields an extensive toolbox to help clients with a variety of needs.
