Irv practices in the area of public finance and corporate finance, serving in the capacities of bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, counsel to financial institutions and counsel to borrowers in conduit transactions. Irv also counsels corporate trust departments of financial institutions as administrator of municipal and corporate debt transactions. Irv’s practice also includes counseling business enterprises on general business and corporate transactions. Irv prioritizes timely communication and prompt resolution of matters entrusted to his care.
Over the past decade, Irv has served as bond counsel and underwriter’s counsel in a variety of public finance transactions for cities, counties, health care institutions and other government bodies. Additionally, he has extensive experience in counseling corporate trustees for hundreds of bond transactions, involving multitudinous structures and has also recently represented a power marketing corporation.
As a specialist in public finance, Irv is an integral member of the Corporate & Business Transactions Group and serves as the firm’s leading expert in public finance. As such, he frequently works with the Rogers Towers Tax Group, Government & Regulatory Department, and Real Estate Department to provide holistic counsel and advice for clients and the federal and state levels.
