Impact Fees, Exactions, and Development Agreements

Our attorneys have a breadth of experience in impact fees, mobility fees, and exactions of all types.  We have prepared legislation for such fees; we have worked with consultants to prepare and review such fees; and we have challenged such fees in state and federal court litigation.  We also have worked with landowners, developers, and builders in preparing and obtaining approval of development agreements which address fees and exactions through the buildout of multi-phased developments.  Finally, we have worked with landowners and local governments in establishing funding mechanisms for the development of infrastructure and services, including mechanisms such as internal fee systems, special assessments, and recoupment arrangements.
