Representative Matters

Our experience in representing clients in commercial litigation matters includes:

  • Prosecuting a franchise termination lawsuit on behalf of a national franchisor of temporary staffing businesses where the franchisee was found to have engaged in fraudulent conduct
  • Representing foreign companies asserting trade rights and unfair competition claims in the United States through application of Article 10 of the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property
  • Defending a Dutch manufacturer of oil micro-filtration products in a $40 million international case involving the theft of trade secrets, interference with advantageous customer relationships, and violations of the Lanham Act
  • Prosecuting a $17 million commercial breach of contract action for a major telecom manufacturing company against one of the country’s largest telecom providers
  • Defending a rock band producer at a jury trial brought by the band’s former manager against the producer for allegedly cutting the manager out of the band
  • Representing a mother of five involving the right to share in the proceeds of a $100 million lottery ticket
  • Defending a successor liability claim to collect on a $5 million personal injury judgment against a machinery designer
  • Defending an out-of-state bank during a bench trial in a turnover action brought to recover interest on a half million-dollar Certificate of Deposit
